Regine had her internship at a digital art publishing company, where she contributed illustrations and graphic design works for a children’s educational game application. She was also a volunteer and substitute teacher at a local school, where she taught art and held art workshops for primary students, and taught English and Filipino subjects to secondary students.

Then she advanced further and worked as a graphic designer and marketing associate for a Philippine-based company in the clothing and clothing accessories industry. Her main task was to create posters, web banners, illustrations, videos, product images, and captions for the brands’ Instagram, Facebook, LazMall, and Shopify accounts. She also assisted in organising photo shoots, promotional events, and collaborations, as well as managed the brands’ social media accounts.

She also had a short, project-based stint as an art director and consultant at a non-profit international development organisation. She was part of their initiative that offered a free digital library to kids all over Asia. Her role was to manage a team of children’s book illustrators.

Regine is creative, steady, and detail-oriented. She has an excellent command of the English language, both in its written and spoken form. She has almost 4 years of professional experience under her belt, with more than 2 years in social media content creation and management for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, as well as e-commerce hosting websites such as Shopify and LazMall. She is proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, and has intermediate skills in Blender 3D Animation and Adobe AfterEffects. She also has a year of elementary and secondary teaching experience. Aside from her full-time roles, she also had freelance typography, layout, and illustration projects for individual clients and companies.

Her experiences did not only broaden her academic and hands-on knowledge in media arts and visual communication, but also developed fundamental attributes and skills that make her a great potential for virtual administrative assistance. She learned to organise and prioritise her tasks, to manage her time wisely in order to meet deadlines, to work with and contribute to a team, and to be proactive and adaptive. The different roles she had also greatly improved her eye for detail and her level of communication with colleagues and clients.
