Her onboarding continued with a two-week Mortgage Broker (MB) Assessment. This intensive course focused on teaching her the essentials of document processing, including the management of loan application documentation, editing standards, and the importance of following correct naming conventions. Chelsea also developed her understanding of key mortgage concepts and gained hands-on experience with commonly used tools like CRM systems, making her proficient in the flow of loan applications and data entry.
Additionally, Chelsea’s communication skills were honed through various practical exercises, including grammar checks and lender call simulations. This well-rounded training ensures she is fully equipped to handle mortgage-related tasks to meet high client standards.
Affordable Staff Tools Training
Chelsea’s training included an in-depth introduction to key tools that are essential in her daily operations. She has developed proficiency in LastPass for password management, Outlook for email and calendar management, and TechSmith for capturing and recording tasks. She also received training in Hubstaff for time tracking, Zoom and Teams for virtual communication, and OneDrive for efficient file management.
Her training in Trello, for project management, ensures she can efficiently track tasks and timelines. In the Mortgage Broking Foundations course, Chelsea became well-versed in Nexus CRM and BrokerEngine, both crucial platforms for managing client relationships and mortgage processes. Her exposure to these systems, alongside intensive practice sessions, ensures she can navigate and operate these tools effectively.
Chelsea’s training in mortgage broking also included applying hands-on document processing techniques, advanced editing standards, and scenario-based learning.
